Organised/community groups abuse is abuse administered under the guise of an organised groups, e.g. religion, club, spiritual teaching, sect, any organisation etc. This may happen by way of harassment or humiliation, possibly resulting in psychological trauma. It can also include misuse of any of the above for selfish, secular, or ideological ends, such as the abuse of a clerical position.
Organised/community groups abuse may also refer to psychological manipulation and harm inflicted on a person by using teachings or doctrines of the particular group.
Physical abuse may take the form of beatings, illegal confinement/neglect, near drowning or even murder.
